Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Kintana ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our websites and services (the "Service").

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

• Account and profile: name, email address, organisation, and similar details you provide when signing in or managing a workspace.
• Event and ticketing: information needed to sell tickets and fulfil orders (for example, purchaser email, billing details processed by our payment partners).
• Usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and diagnostic logs to operate and secure the Service.
• Communications: messages you send us and metadata related to email or in-product notifications.

We use personal information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
• Process transactions and send service-related messages;
• Secure the Service, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot issues;
• Comply with law and enforce our terms;
• Analyse usage in aggregate or de-identified form where appropriate.

Where required (for example, under UK or EEA law), we rely on bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (operating and securing the Service), consent where we ask for it, and legal obligation.

We may share information with:

• Service providers who assist us (hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics) subject to appropriate safeguards;
• Workspace administrators when you are a member of a workspace they control;
• Advertising tools chosen by event organisers and the people involved in their shows: on public show and checkout pages, if a visitor allows ad cookies, the organiser and the performers, promoters and venues linked to the show can load their own Meta pixels. When a ticket is bought, Kintana can send Meta a hashed copy of the buyer's contact details and the purchase on their behalf. Organisers can switch off other people's pixels on their shows. If a visitor declines ad cookies, only the organiser receives purchase events, with Meta's Limited Data Use applied. Where Kintana checkout is embedded on another website, that website is responsible for asking visitors for ad-cookie consent and passing their choice to the checkout;
• Authorities if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense. We may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our cookie practices and product settings.

We and our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate mechanisms recognised under applicable law where required.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context.

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us as below. We may need to verify your request.

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date.
